DRILLING MUD ADDITIVES
LIGNOSULFONATES
Lignosulfonates are used as lubricant additive for water and clay based muds. They improve the rheological properties, lubricating the drills and avoiding the exhaust of gas, crude oil or water due to the hydrostatic pressure.
Lignosulfonates perform as dispersants for clay particles and other solids, preventing the formation of lumps and helping to preserve fluid homogeneity, thus reducing losses by lateral filtration.
LIGNITE
Lignite is a soluble product with a high content of humic acids. Its components work as deflocculants, helping to reduce the viscosity of the fluid and stabilize the mud rheological properties at high temperatures.

- Improves filtration control.
- Extends the temperatura range at which fluids remain stable.
- Works as emulsion stabilizer.
