LEONARDITE (LIGNITE)

Leonardite (lignite) is outlined as an ideal fertilizer for agricultural crops. It is a product with a high content of humic acids, humus base, soil organic matter, which facilitates the plants nutrients absorption.

The main feature of the lignite, is its soil conditioning action; achieves land rehabilitation and stimulates for a better water retention and penetration. Humic acids positively influence the soil fertility, favoring microbial activity, helping to improve the structure of clay soils, improving their permeability and increasing aeration at the root level of the plants. In sandy soils, they help to increase the cation exchange of macronutrients and micronutrients, improving the water retention capacity thus avoiding loss of nutrients by leaching.

LIGNOSULFONATES

One of the applications of lignosulfonates in agriculture is its function as a dispersant in pesticides. They provide an homogeneous distribution of active agents in liquid solutions and perform as binders and humectants in dry products.

Sodium and calcium lignosulfonates are completely soluble, thus facilitate their absorption by vegetables, therefore they act as micronutrient providers for agricultural soils and directly to the plants via foliar route.

HUMIC ACIDS

Kem Industries handles three varieties of humic acids Powder, Granular and Crystals which are constituted of solid, concentrated and humified organic matter. They improve soils physically, chemically and biologically. They can be applied with solid or liquid fertilizers.
